CONFERENCE / ACLB PANEL "The Future Is Now"
On Tuesday, April 17, 2007, the Association of Connecticut Library Boards hosted the panel discussion: "The Future is Now."
Connecticut State Librarian Kendall Wiggin introduced the purpose and the scope of the recent Librarian Retirement Survey, and a panel co Connecticut Librarians, with appropriate experiences, discussed the implications and possible actions to meet the challenges of succession planning.
The Panel included: Barbara Gibson, retired Director, Farmington Public Library; Vince Juliano, retired Waterford Public Library; and Kevin McCarthy, Director, Old Greenwich Library.
The panel was moderated by Executive Director, Chris Bradley.
The subject topic was a continuation of a presentation featured at the ACLB Annual Conference in 2006. |
