SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM / 2008 Each year, The Association of Connecticut Library Boards (ACLB) awards a Scholarship, in the amount of $1,000 to an individual who meets the following qualifications: 1 – A Connecticut resident enrolled in an ALA accredited library school, pursuing a Master’s degree in Library Science. 2 – Have completed a minimum of 9 credit hours of the Library science Master’s program with a grade point average of 3.0. 3 – A transcript must be included with the application. 4 – Anticipate completion of the course work no earlier than the semester following the award. 5 – Demonstrate financial need. 6 –The application must be received by August 15, 2007. Announcement of the award will be made by telephone with a follow-up email or letter. 7 – The recipient will be invited to the ACLB Annual Conference, October 12, 2007, at the Water’s Edge, Westbrook, CT. A separate invitation will be mailed.
