John Arnold, library advocate and software entrepreneur

In this presentation and discussion, we will investigate ways of demonstrating the economic, financial, and community impact of libraries.  Special attention is given to speaking in terms that other leaders in the community can understand and support. The presentation is intended to give every Trustee some immediately useful tools and strategies for becoming more effective advocates for public support of libraries.

The good relationship between Trustees and Friends is important.  Members of the Avon and Norwalk Public Libraries’ Friends and Board will discuss the ways that they work together to improve library services to their communities.
