Conference, an all day training retreat
Sponsor program(s) at the annual
Connecticut Library Association Conference
Publish the
ACLB Public
Library Trustee Handbook
Develop the
Working Together guide to
director, trustees and Friends responsibilities
Advocate for libraries at the
state level
Maintain strong liaison with
library-related organizations on the state and national levels
Sponsor the
Connecticut
Trustee Listserv for news and sharing with fellow trustees
Provide consultant help to library boards
and individual trustees

ACLB holds liaison membership
representation on the Boards of the
Connecticut
Library Association (CLA) and the
Friends of Connecticut Libraries (FOCL) aw well as with
the Connecticut
State Library (CSL). These relationships help broaden
the ACLB capability in its service to its membership.
